Managing card layouts on the Style Colorway Board

As an administrator, you can view and manage all users' card layouts on the Style Colorway Board. All card layouts in the system are displayed in the Manage Card Layouts window, including private layouts created by other users. You can search, edit, copy, or delete any layout, including layouts created by other users.

You can use administrative access to manage or delete unused layouts. Users with View-only permission on the Styles entity cannot create, edit, copy, or delete card layouts.

Card layouts, view layouts, and role permissions work together. View layouts defined in Manage Views determine which fields are available in the Card View Editor. Roles configured in Manage Roles assign view layouts to users.

Roles also set the Styles entity permission level governing create, edit, copy, and delete actions on card layouts. In Manage Card Layouts, users create and manage their card layout presets using the fields available from their assigned view layouts.

Viewing all card layouts

  1. Open the Style Colorway Board.

  2. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  3. Click Manage Card Layouts.
  4. Optionally, specify the name or the author of the card layout in the Search field.
    All card layouts are displayed, including private and public layouts from all users. Shared layouts from other users are not automatically added to your Card View Layout list.

Editing card layouts

  1. Open the Style Colorway Board.

  2. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  3. Click Manage Card Layouts.
  4. In the Manage Card Layouts window, select a layout.
    Note: You cannot select more than one layout for editing.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Optionally, specify a new name in the View Name field.
  7. Optionally, specify new layout settings on the General section.
  8. Add, remove, or reposition fields on the canvas.
  9. Click UPDATE.
    The updated layout is applied to the Style Colorway Board.

Deleting card layouts

  1. Open the Style Colorway Board.

  2. Click the Card View Layout list on the toolbar.
  3. Click Manage Card Layouts.
  4. In the Manage Card Layouts window, select a layout. Alternatively, click Multi-Select to select one or more layouts.
  5. Click Delete.
    The selected layouts are removed from the system.
