Creating grade rules
- From the menu, select Basics > Grade Rule.
- Click New.
- Specify this information:
- Name
- Specify a name for the grade rule.
- Tolerance Format
- Select + & - Columns or ± Columns.
- Measurement View
- Select a measurement view from the list.
- Fraction Denominator
- If you select Imperial Fraction as the measurement view, select a fraction denominator from the list. This field enables you to decide the accuracy level of measurement values.
- Size Range
- Select a size range from the list.
- Sample Size
- Select a sample size. Available sizes depend on the size range that you selected.
- Size Category
- Select a size category from the list.
- Product Category
- Select product categories from the list. Product categories are a generic lookup type, which you can define in Generic Lookup.
- Status
- Select a status from the list.
- Operational
- Select Active or Inactive.
- On the Point of Measure section, click Add.
- Select POMs and click Add.
- Optionally, add an image to each point of measure:
- Select a point of measure.
- Click Add Images.
- Click Add from Local File to select an image from your local computer. Alternatively, click Add from library to select files from the document library of the application.
- Click ADD AND CLOSE.
Alternatively, you can drag and drop images to assign them to POMs. - Optionally, to search for created records, click Search from the Grade Rule tab.
- Optionally, when adding or going down through the POM items under Grade Rule, click the Enter or Return button.
After creating a grade rule, you must add POMs to the grade rule details page.
