Exporting to an Excel file from details view
- From the menu, select Tools > Flex Query View.
- On the list view, open a flex query view.
- Click Execute.
- Right-click a line and select Export Query to Excel > Selected.
- Optionally, export multiple lines to Excel:
- Click Multi-Select and select the lines to export.
Note: You can select multiple lines from multiple pages of search results to include in the export.
- Right-click a line and select Export Query to Excel > Selected.
- Click Multi-Select and select the lines to export.
- Optionally, right-click a line, then select Export Query to Excel > All to export the entire result set.
The entire result set is exported. For example, if the result set has 5,000 lines and split into 100 pages, all 5,000 lines are exported to a single file.
The Excel file is automatically downloaded to your computer. If the file is large, you can resume working while the file is being downloaded.
Note: When an export to Excel is in progress, you must keep the application open. Do not refresh the browser or close the application during the export. If the session is interrupted, the export process continues in the background, but the file is not downloaded automatically once the export is completed.
