Creating views
You can personalize system-defined views by identifying the page type, the view type, and the data context of the view. The information that you specify in this task defines the available personalization options for the view.
You cannot remove subviews that contain required fields from main views.
Note: Exercise caution in removing default fields and sections from views. After you remove the default fields and sections, you can’t add the default fields and sections to the view again. You must perform the task again and copy a system-defined view.
You cannot add fields or containers that are not inherent to the page.
If a drop-down extended field is configured as multi-select in custom views and grid editing is enabled, you must configure the extended field as multi-select in both the List and Details custom views.
