Adding measurement defects to a quality inspection record

  1. Select Quality Inspection > Quality Inspection.
  2. Select a record from the QI List Page for quality inspection.
  3. Click the Measurement Defects tab.
  4. In the Measurement Defects Result section, specify this information:
    Checked Quantity
    Specify the amount of items to inspect.
    Measurement Defects Result
    Select the result for the measurement defects line.
    Reason
    Optionally, specify a reason.
    Multiple QI overview fields are displayed in the measurement defects result section. These fields include the Service Level, Sample Method, AQL Level 1 (Major), AQL Level 2 (Minor), and Style Number.
    The Approved/Rejected by field shows the name of the user who last modified the measurement defects results.
    The Approval Date/Rejected Date field shows the date when the last modification to the measurement defects results is made.
  5. In the List of Measurement Defects grid, click the Add New Row icon, then specify this information:
    Seq
    Specify the order of the line.
    Defect Category
    Select a measurement defect category. This list is a Generic Lookup field that shows the GL Code and Name separated by a hyphen.
    Defect Sub Category
    Select a measurement defect sub category. This list is a Generic Lookup field that shows the GL Code and Name separated by a hyphen.
    Critical
    Specify the amount of critical measurement defects. You can specify whole numbers up to four digits.
    Major
    Specify the amount of major measurement defects. You can specify whole numbers up to four digits.
    Minor
    Specify the amount of minor measurement defects. You can specify whole numbers up to four digits.
    Defect Notes
    Specify defect notes.
    Allowed Number of Defects
    Specify the defects threshold for critical, major, and minor fields. You can specify whole numbers up to 11 digits.
    The Total Number of Defects field shows the sum of critical, major, and minor defects columns.

    The Images field shows the images attached to the measurement defects line. For measurement defect lines with more than three images, click the ellipsis icon to show the remaining images.

    The Created By field shows the author of the record line. Additionally, the Modified By field shows the user who made the last record line modification.
    The Creation Date field shows the date when the record is created. Additionally, the Last Modified field shows the date when the record is last modified.
  6. Optionally, attach a file in the measurement defects section of the quality inspection record.

  7. Click Save or press Alt + S.
