Attaching files

You can attach files to a record using the Attachments pane.

Note: You can upload files and images up to 2,048 MB. Additionally, files generated through Adobe Illustrator (AI) are limited to 128 MB for each AI file upload.

On an entity record, open the Attachments pane by clicking the Attachments icon.
Click Upload/Add Attachments.
Click Add from Local File. Alternatively, you can click Add from library to select files from the document library.
Click ADD. Alternatively, you can click ADD AND CLOSE to add the uploaded file and close the action pane.
If you upload a file with an unsupported file extension, the upload fails, the Task Monitor progress bar color turns red, and a message is displayed stating that the file type is not supported.
If you must upload an unsupported file type, discuss with your administrator if you should configure the MIME type in Infor Document Management.

If you attach a file to a Style record, you can verify the amount of attached files in the Attachments field in Style List view. Additionally, you can create an advanced filter to show only Style records with an attachment.

Optionally, validate these columns:
- Tab: Shows the record section where the file was uploaded.
- File Name: Shows the name of the uploaded file.
- Preview: Shows a preview of the uploaded file.
- File Size: Shows the size of the uploaded file.
- Notes: Shows the available notes for the uploaded file. For quality inspection, pattern, and partner modules, you can provide a note for each uploaded file.
- Description: Shows the available description for the uploaded file. For quality inspection, pattern, and partner modules, you can provide a description for each uploaded file.
Note: For style, material, and trim modules, you can provide a note and a description for each uploaded file on the Attachments tab.
