Tagging style records for archiving

You can archive outdated styles to clean up the Style List and improve data organization. You can tag styles individually or in bulk, with role-based permissions controlling access. Archiving includes version isolation, migration to Data Lake, and permanent deletion during off-peak hours.

See the information about initiating the final archiving process in the Infor PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

Note: You must set up Data Lake before using this feature to ensure smooth processing.
  1. From the menu, select Basics > Style.
  2. Click the Multi-Select icon, select the style records to archive. Alternatively, you can search for the style records to archive or create a search filter.

    See Search.

  3. Click the Archiving Tools icon.
  4. Select Tag for Archiving. Alternatively, you can select Remove Archive Tag to clear the archive tag for tagged style records.
Note: You can tag up to 1000 style records for each run in the Style List grid. For bulk operations, you can use the Mass Tag for Archiving feature. Additionally, you can only prepare up to 100,000 records for archiving.

See Mass tagging style records for archiving.

  5. Verify the Archive Flag field in the Style List grid for the tagged style records. You can also verify the Archive Flag check box on the Style Overview tab.
