Exporting to an Excel file from details view
- Open a flex query view.
- Execute the query.
- You can export to Excel in several ways, depending on the number of items that you want to export.
- To export a single line, right-click and select Export Query to Excel > Selected.
- To export multiple entries:
- Click the Muti-Select icon and select the rows that you want to export.
Note: You can select multiple lines from multiple search results pages to include in the export.
- Right-click on a row and select Export Query to Excel > Selected.
- Click the Muti-Select icon and select the rows that you want to export.
- To export the entire result set, right-click and select Export Query to Excel > All.
The entire result set is exported. For example, if the result set has five thousand lines and split into one hundred pages, all five thousand lines are exported to a single file.
The Excel file is automatically downloaded to your computer. If the file is large, you can resume working while the file is being downloaded.ImportantDo not refresh your browser window while the download has not yet started. The export task is discarded once you refresh your browser window.In the future this task will be a background task, so that you can use the Task Monitor to check the progress of the export task.
