Quality inspection

You can use the Quality Inspection module to create custom views, manage permissions, and apply style hierarchy-based visibility.

These functions are included with role-based access control:

  • List page with advanced filtering
  • Overview tab, which shows key inspection details
  • Questionnaire tab, which captures individual inspection results
  • Product Defects tab, which tracks product defects
  • Measurement Defects tab, which tracks measurement defects

Additionally, users can record inspection outcomes, attach images and files, and manage audit-related data.

Quick search and advanced filter functions are available for easier record retrieval. The style hierarchy is applied, which restricts record visibility to users assigned to the relevant style.

You can create custom layouts for the QI List page, Overview tab, Questionnaire tab, Questionnaire grid, QI Product Defects details page, QI Product Defects list grid, QI Measurement Defects details page, and QI Measurement Defects list grid.

Note: For the Opened Box Number field on the QI Overview page, to customize the Quality Inspection List Page Views that previously included the old integer-based field, manually remove and re-add the updated text-based field to show the values correctly.

Additionally, you can define, create, update, and delete permissions for the QI List page, Overview tab, Questionnaire tab, QI Product Defects tab, and QI Measurement Defects tab. You can also assign custom views to user roles for the QI List, Overview, Questionnaire sections, QI Product Defects, and QI Measurement Defects page. Partner users can also access the Quality Inspection module.
