Configuring request BOM level costing

You can generate request quotation values based on BOM purchase prices. This functionality is only available for Cost or Sample with Cost request type.
Note: You must set a default cost element for each component type. For the default setup, you must leave the Main Category field blank. You cannot use cost elements repeatedly for request BOM level costing. Additionally, the value of cost elements mapped to Retail Price, Retail Price Margin, Whole Sale Price, and Whole Sale Price Margin fields come from style overview instead of request. If the values of these fields come from request, they are not synchronized to style costing.
  1. Select Setup > Settings.
  2. Click the Costing icon.
  3. In the Request BOM Level Costing table, click Add New Row.
  4. Specify this information:
    Cost Element Code
    Select from the available cost element codes.
    Component Type
    Select a component type.
    Main Category
    Select a category for the cost element.
    The Cost Element Name field shows the cost element name based on the selected cost element code.
  5. Click Save or press Alt + S.
