Copying a trim
- Select Basics > Trims.

Right-click a trim record and select Copy.
You can also open a trim record, then click the Copy Trim icon.
If this option is not available, contact your administrator.

Specify this information:
- Number
- Specify a trim number.
If the ID generator is set up for the Trim module and you do not specify a number, the number is automatically generated based on the next number in the series.
If the ID generator is not set up, you must specify a number. This field is validated when you click Execute.
- Name
- Specify the name of the copied trim. The copy name is automatically set to the trim record name with the prefix Copy of-trim record name.

Select the information clusters to copy. By default, all information clusters
are selected. You can clear items that are not required to exclude them from
selection. Optionally, click the Select/Unselect
All Clusters icon to clear all clusters, and select the clusters
to copy. Click the same icon to select all clusters.
Note: You can only copy an information cluster if your role has the Copy permission for that cluster. To disable copying inactive colors, contact your administrator.

Click the Execute icon.
After the task is finished, the copied trim is displayed in a new tab.Note: When you copy a trim, it may take time before other users who have permission to access the trim. After copying the trim, you can immediately use or view it.
