Configuring integration settings

You can integrate specific details of styles created in the application with Infor ERP systems through ION. In an integrated setup between PLM for Fashion and an ERP, you can import and export product data, styles, and SKUs.

To enable integration between the application and ERP systems through ION, you must configure integration settings in PLM for Fashion.

  1. From the menu, select Setup > Settings.
  2. Click the Integration icon.
  3. Specify this information:
    Enabled
Select the check box to enable integration.
    Schema
Select a schema from the list. Schemas pertain to available versions in the application. The integration only uses the schema that you select from this list.
    Accounting Entity
Specify the accounting entity for this integration.
Note: You must obtain this information from the Infor Cloud team.
    Location
Specify the location from which transactions or records for this integration are generated.
Note: You must obtain this information from the Infor Cloud team.
    Buyer
    Specify a buyer.
    Planner
    Specify a planner.
    Warehouse
    Specify a warehouse.
Note: If you do not specify a warehouse and integration is enabled, the application uses the style Country of Origin or HTS Code for the integration.
    Facility
    Specify a facility.
    Integration Flow
    Specify the integration flow.
    Integration Status
Select a status for the integration. The integration status triggers the creation of BODs. For example, if the integration status is For Approval and the status of the style record is changed to For Approval, then Process ItemMaster and Process CodeDefinition BODs are created for the style and style color.
The integration status also triggers the integration of a BOM. If the integration status is set to For Approval, you must set the status of the BOM to For Approval to trigger the integration of the BOM.
Do not create new item for carryover styles (with the same style number)
Select to enable integration of carryover styles that have the same M3 item number as the source record.
    Use ProcessBOM for BOM Integration
Select to enable the use of ProcessBOM BOD when integrating style BOM.
    Use Color Palette for Colorways
Select to enable integration of Colors from Color Palettes. This setting also enables Styles to accept Colors from Color Palettes.
Disable the Generate ID once the record is already integrated
Select to disable the Generate ID icon when a record is already integrated. If the ERP code field has a value, the Generate ID is disabled.
  4. Optionally, select the Style list in the Extended Fields section, and then select the style extended fields to include in the User Area of the Process.ItemMaster BOD. Additionally, you can also select Select All to include all style extended fields.
  5. Click Save.
