Mass updating styles per field

This mass update function enables you to update specific fields based on search, filter, or advanced filter criteria, provided that the number of records does not exceed 500.

The Mass Update per Field feature is permission-based. Contact your application administrator to obtain access.

Once permission is granted, ensure that the required field is accessible to you through Manage Views.

Supported fields:
  • Alt Product Code

  • Status (excluding values used for Integration)

  • Free Field 1

  • Free Field 2

  • Free Field 3

  • Free Field 4

  • Date 3

  • Date 4

  • Ex Factory Date

  • Retail In Store

  • Date

  • Numeric Value 1

  • Numeric Value 2

  • Designer

  • Technical Designer

  • Product Specialist

  • Material Coordinator

  • Trim Specialist

  • Merchandiser/Buyer

  • Responsible

Consider these important notes:
  • This feature is exclusive to the Styles module.

  • Updates do not proceed if the record is already in Operational Status.

  • Fields that are part of the Hierarchy or may introduce conflicts with Business Rules are not updated.

  • If the user cancels the Background Task, completed updates persist, but pending updates are canceled.

  1. In the Style List window, use Filter, Advanced Filter, or Search to ensure the Style List does not exceed 500 records.
  2. From the toolbar, click the Bulk Update Tools icon.
  3. Select Mass Update per Field.
  4. Click Add New Row.
  5. From Field Name, select a supported field.
  6. Select to update the field to blank or define a new value.
  7. Click EXECUTE.
    The Task Monitor shows the progress of the Mass Update per Field action.
  8. Optionally, check the Background Task logs for detailed information.
    The logs contain this information:
    • Number: The record number

    • Name: The record name

    • Info Cluster: Location of the supported field

    • Status: Indicates if the task is done, in progress, or resulted in an error

    • Message: Provides information regarding the status

    • Created by: Name of the user who ran the update

    • Date Created: Time when the record was updated

    • Column Changed: Name of the field updated

    • Old Value: Previous value of the field

    • New Value: New value of the field after the update
