Display of BOM colors functions

The Display BOM Colors feature is available to the Main Information section of the Style Bill of Materials (BOM) system-defined view.

Consider these functions of Display BOM Colors:

  • Filtering

    • It filters the color columns displayed for the BOM lines based on the Style Colorways Status selected in the Display BOM Colors field.

    • When exporting BOM lines to Excel, the filtering based on the Display BOM Colors is applied.

    • When generating the system-defined BOM report, the filtering based on the Display BOM Colors is also applied.

  • Selection
    • Display BOM Colors is a multi-select field that pulls selection options from Generic Lookup > Style Colorways Status.
  • BOM version specificity

    • The options selected in the Display BOM Colors are distinct for each BOM version.

    • When generating the system-defined Bill of Materials report for all BOM versions, the Display BOM Colors option of the first selected BOM version is applied to the rest of the BOM versions generated in the same report.

    • If the BOM report is generated separately for each BOM version, then the Display BOM Colors option for the selected BOM version is applied in the report generation.
