Sorting and ordering style records in list page

You can select multiple fields for sorting the entire Style list table and you can also specify the sort direction for each selected field.

The multi-sort feature works in the Style List, Card View, and Card View by Colorways. The Order By icon in the Card View by Colorways is currently not available.

This feature works as expected even if the user has read-only permission.

Consider these multi-level order settings:

  • You can select up to three fields from the Style Order By function. Once the maximum number of fields are filled out, the rest of the fields are disabled. Once applied, the setup is remembered and reflected in the next time you open the Style list page.

  • The order selected is remembered for every user and for each info cluster.

  • You can select how the field order is displayed. The first field selected indicates the first priority.

  • You can sort the details of each selected field in two orders. Set the way in Ascending (Up Arrow) or Descending (Down arrow) order.

  • You can reconstruct the filter by clearing the initially selected fields and then selecting other fields.

  • The fields available in the Order By list is based on those in the user role view.

  • When you clear the Order By selection, the grid is sorted by default by Style Number and in ascending order.

  1. From the Style list page, click Order By.

    You can select up to three fields. The sorting order is determined through the sequence in which the fields are selected.

    Style Number in Ascending order is the default order of the fields.

  2. In Order By sort direction, select Ascending or Descending.
    You can specify the sort direction for each field.
  3. Click APPLY.
