Exporting to an XML file

You can export the fields and set groupings of columns in the query view to an XML file. You can use the XML file as content source input in Infor Document Management when creating a report layout using a Word document. You can then use the Word document and XML file to create report templates.

When generating reports from the Styles list page, you can also use report templates that are created from flex query view XML file.

  1. Open a flex query view.
  2. Click the Generate XML icon.
    The XML file is automatically downloaded to your local computer.
