Details column connections and considerations

For style reports, the Details icon and function is applicable these items under the Available Reports:

  • BOM Line Images​

  • Bill of Materials​

  • Measurements​

  • Sample and Comments Page Report​

By default, the BOM and Sample page associated to the request are the checked options from the report details modal. Exceptions to this setting are applied in these conditions:
  • Available BOM versions in the report modal are based on the GEO code with which the supplier is associated with.

    • If the supplier is selected in Request and has a GEO code assignment​, then the BOM versions whose GEO code matches the selected Supplier's GEO code, and all the BOM versions with no GEO code assignment in generate report modal, are displayed.​

    • If the supplier is not selected in Request, all the BOM versions in generate report modal are displayed.​

  • If the BOM version in request is not defined, then always select the main BOM version.​
  • Available sample pages in the report modal are only associated with the same supplier.​
  • If the request is not associated with any sample page, then no sample pages are selected in the report details modal.​
  • If the sample page has no supplier assignment, then include it in the report details modal for selection.​

When you clear a BOM version or Sample page, the cleared items are not included in the generated reports.​

There is no Details icon available for Material or Trim reports.​

Details column must follow the existing permission rules for the Email & Email Content sub-entity.​

Consider the limiting factors for Details:

  • The system does not save in the database the selected BOM versions or sample pages in the report generation modal. The default options are loaded upon opening the application or every after browser refresh. The selected options are remembered before sending the request.​

  • The function only works when using the Sample and Sample with Cost request types. The report details selection column is hidden if the selected request type is Style Cost or Test, and Material and Trim request types.​

  • For effective functionality, the custom reports must be designed to follow the report details selection of the BOM version and sample pages.​
