Viewing restrictions

Specific viewing rights are provided for each type of IPLMF application user when managing documents under Document Library. These viewing filters are made in compliance to GDPR.

These factors are considered regardless of which document type is loaded in the Document Library grid:

Internal users will be able to see all documents uploaded by all internal users and partner users.
Partner users will only be able to see documents uploaded by internal users and all partner users that belongs to the same company.
This restriction setup is only applicable to newly uploaded documents.
Old records (in FPLM Document Type) will be visible to all users. Since partner users are normally not given IDM security roles in Ming.le, the Created By and Modified By data of all documents uploaded by the partner users are defaulted to the IDM Background Service Account. There is no way in the application to identify to which partner user and supplier it belongs to.
