Uploading images and documents from supported device

The Document Library feature is certified for the Apple tablet with iOS 15.5 device specification.

The latest document library features are also certified for Android tablet device users who access the Infor PLM for Fashion through the Chrome browser.

You can log-in using the certified device and access the IPLMF application through these certified browsers:

Chrome
Safari

The set field values are inherited by all of the images and files that you are uploading. Documents are also uploaded in the selected document type.

From your tablet, access the IPLMF application link through one of the certified browsers.
To verify the specific link for your access, contact your IPLMF resource or system administrator.
From the IPLMF application, select Basics > Document Library.
Select a filter from Document Type.
Click the more options icon, then select Upload Documents.
To upload images or files from your tablet's local storage, select Photo Library or Choose Files.
1. For the images, from your tablet's local storage, browse and select the images. You can select multiple images to upload.
2. Click the Add function from your device.
To upload images taken directly from the tablet's camera, select Take Photo or Video.
1. Take a photo from the camera prompt.
2. If required by your device, to load the captured image, click the Add function from your device.
In the information section, specify the available details.
The available fields to update depend on the assigned document library details layout and added fields that are set to the selected document type. The displayed fields on the page are only the editable fields.
Click Execute. You are notified once the upload progress is completed successfully.
In a mass upload, each uploaded document inherits the selected values from a document type and its assigned layout. The documents are uploaded in the selected document type.
