Creating materials from the extension

  1. From the extension home screen, click Material.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Main Information section, specify this information:
    Note: Some fields may have dependencies to other fields because of how your data hierarchy is defined and how your access to data hierarchy levels is configured.

    The fields that are described here are shown in the extension by default. You can modify an existing user defined view for the extension so that other fields are shown. When modifying a view, select a control that you want to appear on the extension, and make sure that Visible on Plugin is selected.     Number
    Specify a material number. The material number serves as the identifying code for your material within the application.
    Name
    Specify a name for the material.
    Description
    Provide a description for the material.
    Status
    Select a status from the list.
    Main Category
    Select a main category from the list. Main categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Category
    Select a category from the list. Categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Material Type
    Select a material type from the list. Material types are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Season
    Select a season from the list. Seasons are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Brand
    Select a brand from the list. Brands are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Division
    Select a division from the list. are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
    Category Group
    Select a category group from the list. Category groups are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
  4. In the Ownership Information section, specify ownership information and main responsibilities the Designer role.
  5. Click Save.
