Creating a flex query view

For Entity field and value, The field is only editable upon creation of a new FQV record. Once the record is saved, this field is set to read only.

The Entity value is always the context of report generation.

Select Tools > Flex Query View.
Click the New icon.
Specify this information:

Code

Specify a unique code. This field is required.

Name

Specify a name. This field is required.

Notes

Specify brief description of this view.

Entity

Select if the query is for a Style, Material, or Trim-related fields.
Newly created FQV record always have Style as its default value.
In the Entity column of the list page, you can determine if the FQV record is either for Style, Material, or Trim by looking at the entity tag indicated in the column header title.
Optionally, click the Information icon to get notified that you must save the record first so that the column chooser and advanced filter is enabled.

Private

Select to make this view as private. Only the user who creates the record can modify this setting. If the record is publicly shared, then this field is disabled for other users.
Click Save.
