Creating styles
To create a style, you must define several areas of information.
- From the menu, select Basics > Style.
- Click New.

Specify main information:
Note: Some fields may have dependencies to other fields because of how your data hierarchy is defined and how your access to data hierarchy levels is configured. Hover over the Field Dependencies icon for each field to view these dependencies.
- Brand
- Select a brand from the list. Brands are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Division
- Select a division from the list. Divisions are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Season
- Select a season from the list. Seasons are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Collection
- Select a collection from the list. Collections are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Style Number
- Specify a style number. The style number serves as the
identifying code for your style within the application.
Optionally, click the Generate ID icon to generate a style number based on defined ID rules.
Note: If you leave this field blank and save the record, the ID Generator will assign a style number to this record based on defined ID rules. - Style Name
- Specify a name for your style.
- Status
- Select a status from the list.
- Category
- Select a category from the list. Product categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Sub Category
- Select a sub category from the list. Product sub categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Sub Sub Category
- Select a sub sub category from the list. Product sub sub categories are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Gender
- Select a gender from the list. Gender is a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Theme
- Select a theme from the list. You can define style themes in Generic Lookup. For example, you can create "Formal," "Casual," "Romantic," or "Bohemian" as style themes.
- Deliveries
- Select a delivery type from the list. Delivery types are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Packing
- Select a packaging method from the list. Packaging methods are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- UOM
- Select a unit of measurement from the list. UOMs are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Line Plan Name
- If this style is mapped to a line plan, this field will show the line plan name.
- Country of Origin
- Select a country of origin. Countries of origin are a generic lookup type and
can be defined in Generic Lookup.Note: If you have enabled the integration with M3 but did not specify a value for Warehouse, the value of this field is used instead.
- ERP Code
- This field displays the ERP code of the style if the style record is replicated to the application from an ERP. This field is not editable.

To add style images, click the Images icon on the pane.
- Click Add Images.

Select an image.
- Click Add from local files to select an image from your local computer.
- Click Add from library to select an image from the document library of the application.
- Click Add.
Note: To add other image types to a style, go to Images tab. -
Specify miscellaneous information:
- HTS Code
- Specify the harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) code for the style.Note: If you have enabled the integration with M3 but did not specify a value for Warehouse, the value of this field is used instead.
- Alt Product Code
- Specify an alternate product code for the style.
- Country
- Select a country from the list.
- Region
- Select a region from the list. Regions are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Channel
- Select a channel from the list. Channels are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Item Type
- Select an item type from the list.
- User Defined Field 1
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 2
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 3
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 4
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 5
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 6
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 7
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 8
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 9
- Specify values for user-defined fields. User-defined fields are a generic lookup type and can bedefined in Generic Lookup.
- User Defined Field 10

- User Defined Field 11

- User Defined Field 12

- User Defined Field 13

- Market Field 1
- Select a market field from the list. Market fields are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Market Field 2
- Select a market field from the list. Market fields are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Market Field 3
- Select a market field from the list. Market fields are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Market Field 4
- Select a market field from the list. Market fields are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Free Field 4
- Use this field to specify details for the style that do not fall under any defined field.
- Free Field 3
- Use this field to specify details for the style that do not fall under any defined field.
- Free Field 2
- Use this field to specify details for the style that do not fall under any defined field.
- Free Field 1
- Use this field to specify details for the style that do not fall under any defined field.
- Market Field 5
- Select a market field from the list. Market fields are a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.
- Description
- Provide a description for the style.
- Copied From
- This read-only field contains the name and code information
of the source record if the style is created as a copy, variant,
carryover of a style, or created during a mass create
action.Note: If two or more different styles are used as source for a mass create action, this field displays "Copied from multiple style numbers.".
- Season Managed
- Select the check box to mark the style as season managed.
- Discrete Item
- Select the check box to mark the style as a discrete item. You cannot associate style attributes, such as colors, sizes, and images, to a discrete item.
- Carryover
- This field is selected if the style is created as a carryover from another style.
- Variant
- This field is selected if the style is created as a variant of another style.

Specify main partner information:
- Map Values from Costing
- Select the check box to map the price values to the costing of the style.
- Preferred / Main Supplier
- Select a partner from the list. The available options are partners that you have assigned to the style.
- Preferred / Main Supplier Name
- This field displays the name of your preferred partner.
- Agent
- Select an agent from the list.
- Purchase Price
- Specify the purchase price.
- Purchase Price Currency
- Select a currency for the purchase price.
- Supplier Purchase Price
- Specify the supplier purchase price.
- Supplier Purchase Price Currency
- Select a currency for the supplier purchase price.
- Cost Price
- Specify the cost price.
- Cost Price Currency

Select a currency for the cost price.
For calculating or re-calculating values, when you update the costing currency, the values in Costing are re-calculated based on the effective exchange rate. Additionally, the costing values in Style Overview are reflected in the Style grid.

- Numeric Value 1
- Specify numeric values that are relevant to the style.

- Specify numeric values that are relevant to the style.

- Provide remarks about the style.

Specify ownership information:
- Designer
- Select a designer from the list.
- Technical Designer
- Select a technical designer from the list.
- Product Specialist
- Select a product specialist from the list.
- Material Coordinator
- Select a material coordinator from the list.
- Trim Specialist
- Select a trim specialist.
- Merchandiser / Buyer
- Select a merchandiser / buyer from the list.

Specify main responsibilities information:
- Responsible
- Select a user from the list.
- Modified By
- This read-only field is filled up with the name of the user who last modified this record.
- Created By
- This read-only field is filled up with the name of the user
who creates this record.
If this record is created before release 16.0.15, the value of this field is System User.
- Create Date
- This read-only field is filled up with the date when this record is created.
- Last Modified
- This read-only field is filled up with the date when this records is modified.

Specify planning information:
- Quantity
- Specify a quantity.
- Ex Factory Date
- Specify a date.
- Retail In Store Date
- Specify a date.
- Date 3
- Specify a date.
- Date 4
- Specify a date.

Click Save.
Note: When you save a new style, it will take time before other users can access it (if they have access rights to the style). You can immediately use/view styles that you have created.
