Creating style packs
In PLM for Fashion, you can create style packs for a style record.
You can create multiple Style Pack tabs. If the number of tabs exceeds the pane's capacity, a dropdown field is displayed to list the additional tabs. Each tab shares the same name as the name field in the header section. The tab width automatically adjusts to match the length of the name.
Newly created records must be saved with a defined packaging type before the grid becomes editable. There are two Packaging Types: Pack and Pre-pack. The key difference is that in Pre-packs, a footer section is available for entering values in selected fields within the grid. This footer section remains hidden if the tab is of the Pack type.
System validation is in place to prevent the deletion of Style sizes, colorways, and characteristics if they are already associated with a pack or pre-pack record.
Other features are Grouping of columns, Freeze column, Ability to delete tabs and delete multiple line records, and Export to Excel. Since each tab has no pagination, you can export all lines to Excel, except for the pre-pack footer, which is supported in a future version of the application.
