Mass updating styles

In PLM for Fashion, you can change and update information on multiple styles simultaneously to speed up process around changes.

The fields Number and Name in Style Mass Update reflect the Max Field Length in Style Details View (from Manage Views). This feature is also applied in Adobe Illustrator Extension Plug-in.

For managing Style Details View, see the Infor PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

For style records that already have an existing request, we recommend to avoid updating the BOM values during a mass update. This is to ensure data consistency, as updating the BOM values could potentially lead to data inconsistencies.

  1. In the Style window, right-click a record and select Mass Update.
Use the multi-select tool to select several records to update.

The selected styles appear in the Styles to be updated section. You can view the details of a style by clicking on the style number. The style details appear in a new tab.

To go directly to a specific information cluster of a style, right-click on a style, select Jump to and select an information cluster. The style details open in a new tab, with the information cluster that you selected as the active view.

  2. In the Information to Copy section, select the data to copy.

The style you selected is applied to all the info cluster.

By default, all info clusters are selected. Click the Select/Unselect All Clusters icon to unselect all clusters, and select what clusters you want to copy. Click the same icon to select all clusters.

Use the multi-select option when there are multiple Styles to copy data from. You can select the Styles from the Add Styles function and you can drag and drop them on the multi-selected info clusters.

Note: If enabled in the settings, inactive colors are not copied.

Contact your administrator or see the Infor PLM for Fashion Administration Guide.

  3. To specify and configure more details, click the Select icon in the Details column.
  4. Optionally, you can drag and drop Style from the Style library to the Copy data from column.
  5. To specify additional styles to be updated, click the Add Style (Alt + H) icon and select style records to add.
  6. Click ADD AND CLOSE.
  7. Click Execute to start the mass update.

You can see the progress of the mass update in the task monitor.
