Configuring hierarchy settings

This setting only appears if your role has the correct permissions.
  1. Select Setup > Settings.
  2. Click the Hierarchy icon.
  3. Select Allow deletion of the lowest node in hierarchy. When this settings is enabled, users can delete the lowest node in a hierarchy even if there are associated items to that node.
  4. Select Give priority to full access for users with conflicting accesses on the same hierarchy node. When this settings is enabled, priority is provided to users belonging to multiple user groups on one hierarchy node, and read-only is set to one user group. The read-only access is not applied to the user if this setting is selected.
Note: The default priority for this option is read-only access.
  5. Click Save or press Alt+S.
  6. Optionally, select the Read-Only toggle switch for a user to enable read-only access to the data hierarchy level.
Note: When users are assigned on multiple groups and one user group is assigned a read-only access, the user belonging to multiple groups acquires the read-only access.
