Like

The Like attribute serves as a counter of instance when a document and it's corresponding details under a document type is seen, checked, or liked.

You can set this field as an attribute in the details or list layout of a document type. The Like field is also displayed as a column in the Document Library grid when set to the layout.

In detail layout, the Like attribute has a specific icon in the Available Controls. You must also add a number counter on it's right side to show the instances of likes. The Like field is automatically binded on the Like control.

You and users can click the Like icon on the column in the Document Library grid, or on the card view format of documents. You can also like the images from the Document Library list or Details page. By default, the permission is unselected for all existing and newly created roles.​

To apply this function, ensure that the Like attribute is set from the IDM configurations of the document type. Also set the role view permissions from the Other Actions in Manage Roles and the add this field in the document library layouts in Manage Views.

The Like pane is displayed in the Document Library page to list the internal and partner users who have liked the images. You can refresh the pane to retrieve the latest list of users without closing the pane.​ The Like pane is accessible from list page, card view or list view, and details page.​

In compliance to GDPR, the viewing restrictions are also applied. The count of the number of likes will differ depending on which user is viewing the page.​
  • Internal users can see all users who liked the image.
  • Partner users can only see all internal users and other partner users that belongs to the same company that liked the image.​
