Filtering tasks

  1. To search for a task, from the Background Tasks tab, click Search.
Note: Full-text search is supported for the Name, Message, Status, and Created By columns. For the Date Created and Date Modified columns, you must type the exact date in the same date format from the table. Time stamps and tasks that are related to report generation are not searchable.
  2. To delete a task, click the item from the Background Tasks table and click Delete (Alt+D).
  3. Optionally, to select and delete multiple tasks at once, click Multi-Select.
  4. Select the tasks to delete and click Delete (Alt+D).
  5. To filter the table entries based from a specific number of days, click the add and subtract icons from Create Date Filter and click Enter.
  6. Optionally, to specify an exact number, specify the value in the Create Date Filter field. Click Enter.

The Create Date Filter option retrieves records with create date equal to today and your specified number of days in the past.

Note: You can only specify numbers between 0 to 7. The default value is always 0 upon launch of Background Tasks. The system goes back to the maximum value of 7 when you specify a higher number than 7 in the Create Date Filter.
