Task monitoring
Some features in the application require you to execute tasks to process the planning data. Such tasks may be referred to as user-initiated tasks.
PLM for Fashion manages user-initiated tasks as foreground tasks or background tasks:
- A foreground task must be completed before another task is started.
- A background task can be executed in the background without affecting other tasks that the user is executing.
The status of the background task can be observed by launching the task monitor. To launch the task monitor, click the icon on the toolbar menu.
Partner users can only see background tasks that are triggered by all partner users that belong to the same company.
