Migrating system partners and partner users

Existing IPLMF system partners are converted as External Entities. In the conversion process, an existing partner lets the system updates sync easily with the IPLMF application.

When the added partner is not enrolled and synced to EEM, a system notification is displayed when the partner user logs in again once the feature toggle reaches the expiration date:

"Partner account is not associated with External Entity. Please contact the system administrator for assistance."

Take note of the details of the existing IPLMF system partner record you are migrating.

  1. From your user account options, select External Entity Management.
  2. In the External Entities page, click Add.
  3. In the Add New External Entity tab, add an external entity through one of these options:
    • To create new entity without a profile, click Create External Entity without a profile.
    • To select a previously created profile, select from the displayed existing profiles.
  4. In the External Entity details page, specify the necessary external entity profile details.

    Code
    Specify the code of the IPLMF system partner to migrate.
    Note: Users must use the same code to ensure correct integration.
    Name
    Specify the name of the IPLMF system partner to migrate.
    Description
    Specify description for the IPLMF system partner to migrate.
  5. In the Settings tab, specify EEM details.

  6. In the External Authorized Components and Applications tab, click the Add icon.
    1. In the Associated External Authorized Components and Applications dialog box, select from the available components.
    2. Click ADD & CLOSE.
  7. Click the Save icon.

    The IPLMF application sets the added partner as a system partner.

    Upon saving, the External Entity or Partner is synced to the same partner in IPLMF.

    New Partners are tagged as system partner and the EEM checkbox is selected to indicate that integration is successful.

    Note: To verify the system partner conversion, in the partner information of the updated IPLMF partner, the checkbox for system partner is selected by default.
