Adding images to a style

Use images that you previously uploaded in the Document Library to represent your style graphically by adding them to the style record. Alternatively, you can upload images from your local computer to a style record directly.

Note: Files generated through Adobe Illustrator (AI) are limited to 128 MB for each AI file upload.
  1. On the style details page, click the Images icon.
  2. Click Add Images on the toolbar or press Alt+I.
    Note: To add an image directly to an image type, click the Add Images icon (the plus sign) on the image section toolbar. Skip step 3.
  3. Select an image type from these options. These image types help group images for a style into categories:
    • General
    • Style Images
    • 2D Turn Table (This image type only accepts a turntable image in a .zip file)
    • Sketches
    • Construction
    • Technical Drawing
    • Colorways, to define the image for each style color
    • Artwork
    • Patterns
    • Other
  4. Select an image.
    • Click Add from local files to select an image from your local computer.
    • Click Add from library to select an image from the document library of the application.
  5. Click ADD AND CLOSE.
  6. To add details for images that you have added, click Details for the section where you added images. For each image that you add, specify this information:
    Report Image Sequence
    Specify a number. This value controls the position of the image in the report. For example, if you specify the number 1, then this image appears first in reports.
    Report Image
    Select to include the image in reports.

    Name
    Specify a name for the image.
    Notes
    Specify a short description for the image.
    Image Label
    Select an image label for the image.

    Image Label is a generic lookup type and can be defined in Generic Lookup.

  7. Click Save.
