Creating or copying report templates

From the menu, select Setup > Report Template.
The list of system-defined templates is displayed.
- Optionally, to refresh the report template page items, click Refresh (Alt + R).
- In the Setup toolbar, click New (Alt + N).
- Alternatively, to copy an existing template, right-click on the report template to use as reference and select Copy.

Specify this information:
- Code
- Specify the name of the report.
- Name
- Specify the name of the report.
- Entity
- Specify if it is Style, Material, or Trim.
- Sub Entity
- If you select Style as value for Entity, you can select a sub
entity.
When you select a sub entity, users are presented with additional selection criteria based on the sub entity that you select here.
- Type
- Select Details if you want one file to be generated but can have
multiple reports (ideal for creating a Techpack) per item (style,
material, or trim).
Select List to generate one file as a single report that may contain multiple items.
- IDM Doc File
- Specify the file name of the report or click the folder icon and select the file that you want to use
- XSL File
- Specify the file name of the XSL file or click the
folder icon and
select the file that you want to use.
Upload customized XSL files to define the sorting and order of data in the generated Style, Material, or Trim reports. You can create an XSL file that uses more than one field as the basis for sorting.

fields as the basis for sorting.

- GroupBy
- Specify two fields that will group the list of data, separated by a comma.
The fields that you specify must be defined in this field and in the XML field.
In the XML field, they should be defined between
<Label>
and before<DataArea>
. For field names that have more than one word, you must specify them in the GroupBy and XML fields without spaces. For example, if you use User Defined Field 1 to group the list of data, you should specify it in the GroupBy and XML fields as UserDefinedField1.Only a maximum of two fields are allowed.
- Sequence
- Specify the order by which this template will appear in a sequence of compound
reports.
The sequence in the report favorites takes precedence over this value.
When you generate a report by selecting individually from the Style, Material, or Trim grid view, the generated PDF follows your selection from the grid.
- Active
- Select the option to set the creation or copy as an active template.
- XML
- The content of this field depends on the selected
Entity, Sub Entity, and Type. Removed the unnecessary
XML fields to speed up the report generation process.Note:
- Always include the Material Construction Details XML when using the Material Composition XML field from Material Overview. Otherwise, concatenated composition values will not be retrieved.
- There are two style XML fields that are calculated based
on other fields:
- Style > Colorways > Colorway > ColorwayProductString = product of Style Overview Retail Price and Style Colorways Quantity
- Style > Colorways > Colorway > TotalQtyString = sum of Style Colorways Quantity
If you require more calculated XML fields, please submit an enhancement request.
- If a style, material or trim record is associated to a
style record as BOM components, then you can create a
report template joining data of the style record and its
BOM components. You can use the XML fields under these
sections to get the BOM components data:
- Style > BOM > BOMVersion > BOMLine > BOMStyleRef
- Style > BOM > BOMVersion > BOMLine > BOMMaterialRef
- Style > BOM > BOMVersion > BOMLine > BOMTrimRef
- Click Save (Alt + S) or Save and Close (Alt + V).

Optionally, you can edit the template. Open the Document
Management page and select the template file.
Note: You can find the Infor PLM for Fashion templates under the Document Type. Select FPLM Report Template from the drop-down menu.
- Click Download.
- To edit the template, open the file in Microsoft Word.
- Rename the edited template and then save the file in your local.
- Reopen the Document Management page and select Add Document and then select FPLM Report Template.

Select Blank. Drag or
drop the edited template file to upload it. Click Save.
The edited template will be listed in the available options when generating reports.Note: If you have added style BOM line User Defined Field 1, User Defined Field 2, or User Defined Field 3, you must update your reports.

Optionally, to remove a template, right-click on the item from the Report
Template list and select Delete.
To delete multiple items, click the Multi-Select icon and select settings to delete. Click Delete (Alt + D).
