Supporting Style functions

Comments

To each Style info cluster you can add comments. Comments features are shown in three different views

  • Comments – You can add, edit, and reply to comments

    • The comments are in context of the active entity

    • You can tag comments as public or private

    • You can add comment tags that trigger a notification (if a workflow is defined in Infor ION)

    • Comments are filtered to the info cluster you work on

  • List view – filtered to the info cluster you work on
  • Full list view – all comments

    • In this view, all comment of all info clusters and different samples are displayed

    • You can filter comments

    • This view is displayed as a pop-up screen

For samples, you can have specific type of comments called evaluation comments (configurable) such as Other contextual information that can be viewed. These include Style Sales Colorways and Style Sizes.

Creating new styles

There are multiple ways of creating styles:
  • Copy or variation

    • Use for copying an existing style or for making a copy and tagging it as a variation.

    • You can select different clusters that can be copied. Users with no permission to a certain cluster cannot copy that cluster

    • You define copy templates.

    • You can specify if the value of a field should be blank for a copy.

  • Carryover
    • Use for carrying over an existing style to another season. You can define which colors should be carried over.
    • You can carry over these items:
      • A style or color to a new season (with either new ID or new season, or same ID or new season)
      • A style (including all colors, with either new ID or new season, or same ID or new season)
  • Mass carryover

    Use for massively carrying over multiple styles to another season, with or without keeping same ID. All colors are carried over when using mass carryover.

  • Mass creation of styles

    • Use for massively creating new styles

    • You can select one or more source styles to copy from

    • The maximum number of copies that can be made is 99 in one mass creation task, unless the number is set to another value

    • Users with no permission to a certain cluster cannot copy that cluster

  • Mass update

    • Use to replace and or add information to existing styles

    • Users with no permission to a certain cluster cannot mass update that cluster

Adding partners and suppliers

A partner is an external entity that could be a supplier, agent, mill, factory, customer.

  • You can add partners to one or more styles, materials and or trims

  • Partner can be set as main partner

  • You can share a style with a partner (manually)

  • You can share a partner automatically upon sending a request

Creating requests

From styles you can make requests for sample, cost (quotation), request for cost-BOM level costing sample, and cost and performance tests.

  • Create requests for a single product and single supplier

  • Mass create requests for multiple selected products and multiple suppliers. The action generates multiple requests per product or supplier automatically

Creating prepacks and packs

From styles, you can create a pack (single color or multi-size) or pre-packs (multi-color – single or multi-size).

Creating reports

Detailed reports for a single style or a collection report for multiple styles are created.

  • Creation of a predefined favorite report (tech pack)

  • Selection of sub reports that users want to combine (BOM, measurement, care, product information, among others) generating a combined PDF report

  • Respects who is allowed to generate what report

Creating stock keeping units or SKU

A stock keeping unit is a combination of style, color, sizes, characteristics.

  • SKU - Launch screen for identifying which combination of style, color, size, characteristic can be created and integrated

  • Visualize what combinations have been integrated
