Process Intelligence widgets

Process Intelligence widgets are designed to provide users with quick, convenient access to process content directly from their workspace, without the need to navigate into the application itself.

Process Modeler widgets

Process Modeler module widgets give users direct access to process information within their workspace by displaying relevant process content..

Users add Process Modeler widgets from the Widget catalog.

Industry Process Catalog widget

The Industry Process Catalog widget shows approved process diagrams and related information directly in your workspace, based on your current ERP screen. It helps you quickly find the most relevant process flows, attributes, and references.

The widget updates automatically as you move through the ERP. You only see content you’re authorized to view. You can explore process diagrams, view metadata, and open related references to better understand how processes are connected.

When the widget is added to a workspace, you can:

  • See the process diagram that matches your current ERP screen, with the relevant element highlighted
  • Use breadcrumbs to understand where you are in the process
  • Adjust the view using Full Screen, Fit to Screen, Zoom In, and Zoom Out
  • Click diagram elements to drill down for more details
  • If enabled, double-click an element to open the related ERP screen
  • Open the attribute panel from a diagram element and close it when no longer needed
  • View process metadata in the Process Attributes tab
  • Check the references table for links to related activities or diagrams

Reference table

The Reference table shows all activities or process elements that use the same ERP screen. The table is updated automatically based on the current ERP context.

The table is displayed in a collapsible tree structure and displays:

  • Diagram name: click it to open the diagram

  • Element name and type

  • Relevant attributes, such as Application Navigation

If no references exist, the table displays a message that no related items are available.

Select Open in PI to open the diagram in the Process Intelligence application.

How to use reference table:
  • To view the reference table, scroll below the main process diagram.
  • To view all related diagrams and activities, expand or collapse the sections.
  • To open a diagram within the widget, click the diagram name.
  • To open the diagram in the Process Intelligence application, click Open in PI.
  • To understand how the ERP screen is used in different processes, review element details and attributes.

Context awareness

The widget:

  • Detects ERP screen changes and updates displayed content.
  • Prompts users to choose an Industry Process Catalog when multiple options match the current ERP screen.

Notes

  • Users view only approved content that they have permission to access.
  • Administrators manage and publish widget content in Process Intelligence. The widget shows updates after publication.
