Configure event level metrics

Each type of event level metric must be configured according to the available configuration options.

Event-level metrics, such as Case Count, Cycle Time, Event Count, and Formula, provide insights into process performance through specific configurations:

• Case Count

  Calculates the number of cases based on process flows, defined events, or attributes. You can apply conditions such as is directly followed by or use attribute-based filters.

• Cycle Time

  Measures the duration between selected start and end events. Options include using the first or last occurrence of an event.

• Event Count

  Counts selected events. You can include or exclude events through searchable lists.

  Proper configuration ensures accurate analysis and supports process optimization.

• Formula

  Creates custom calculations by combining process metrics, event-level metrics, numeric attributes, and numeric inputs in the Process Mining application. Use this metric for tailored analysis, such as calculating custom cycle times, event counts, ratios, or process costs.
