Importing BPMN models from XML

You can import multiple BPMN models from a zip folder with xml files previously imported from Process Intelligence.

In Process Designer tree view, select the destination folder..
Right-click the folder, and select Import/Export > Import BPMN Models.
Choose a ZIP file from the local drive. The ZIP file must contain XML files exported from Process Intelligence.

By default, BPMN models are imported to the selected folder and keep the original folder structure in the ZIP file.

To import BPMN models without the original folder structure, select the Import without folder structure check box.

The imported contents are added as BPMN models to the selected folder based on the selected options.
Note: If duplicate content is found during import, a dialog box is displayed. Select one of these options from the dialog box:
- Merge
  Imported BPMN models are added as a new draft version on top of existing models.
  
  If the existing model is a draft, it becomes a read-only draft.
  
  Registry entries and categories are reused across versions.
  
  Local content is not deleted.
- Overwrite
  Imported BPMN models are added as version 1 for existing models.
  
  Previous versions are removed along with their unused auto generated registry entries and categories.
  
  The imported models are added as new drafts.
