Formula

The Formula metric allows users to create custom calculations by combining process metrics, event-level metrics, numeric attributes, and numeric inputs in the Process Mining application. This enables tailored analysis, such as calculating custom cycle times, event counts, ratios, or process costs.

Result Types

Number: This is the default result type, covering most of the formula use cases. It can be used to calculate process cost, quantity deviations, differences between dates and much more.
Cycle Time: Use this result type if the formula contains a difference between 2 or more cycle times. This ensures the correct unit and formatting of the result.
Ratio: The ratio result type is used to divide values of the same data type, for example, cases with the event Create Requisition to all cases, or any sub-process cycle time to total cycle time.
