Manage AI-Generated Pages

AI-Generated Insight Pages provide GenAI-powered analysis attached to an insight. Each page configuration contains sections. Each section runs an ordered list of steps.
Note: An administrator must enable this option in the CloudSuite Self-Service Portal (CSSP). If the option is not displayed, contact the system administrator.

Each insight supports up to 5 AI-generated page configurations. Each page configuration contains up to five sections. Each section contains up to five steps. Each step contains one prompt with a maximum length of 5,000 characters and an optional list of agents.

AI-generated page configuration behavior depends on the insight type:

  • Infor-provisioned insights: Infor delivers the configurations. Page configurations are always enabled and you cannot configure them. The Generate Insight Pages button is not available.
  • Custom insights: Users with edit permissions configure the configurations . When a user duplicates an Infor insight to a custom insight, the system copies the configurations and makes them editable.

This table gives an overview of the configuration options for AI-generated page configurations :

Configuration Description
New Insight Page Creates a new insight page configuration.
New Section Adds a section to the current configuration. Each page configuration contains up to five sections.
Section name Optional name displayed in the section header. When this field is empty, the header shows a default title from Section 1 to Section 5, based on the section position.
New Step Adds a step to the current section. A section can hold up to 5 steps.
Prompt The required text that GenAI runs for the step. Up to 5,000 characters, with a live character counter.
Agents Optional agent names for the step, typed as free text separated by commas. When empty, the assistant chooses which agent to call.
Delete section Removes a section and all of its steps.
Delete step Removes a step from the section. The remaining steps are renumbered.
Expand or collapse Shows or hides the body of a section or a step.
Reorder sections or steps Drag a section or a step by its handle to change its order.
Delete configuration Deletes the selected configuration and its AI page.
Save Saves the configuration.
Close Closes the modal.

To open the Generate Insight Pages window:

  1. Open a custom insight in Insights Designer.
  2. Switch to Edit Insight mode.
  3. Click the Generate Insight Pages button in the toolbar.

    The Generate Insight Pages window is displayed.

    The window has a master-detail layout with two panels:
    • The left panel lists existing configurations.
    • The right panel shows the editor for the selected configuration.

Creating an AI-generated page configuration

  1. In the Generate Insight Pages window, click New configuration.
  2. In the right panel, specify a Name.
    This field is required (maximum 50 characters).
  3. The configuration is enabled by default. To save without generating an AI page, clear the Enabled toggle.
  4. Optionally, specify a section name in the section body.
    The header title updates as you type. If the section name is empty, the header displays a title from Section 1 through Section 5 based on the section position.
  5. In the step, specify the prompt text of up to 5,000 characters.
    A counter below the field displays the remaining number of characters.
  6. Optionally, in the Agents field, specify one or more agent names separated by commas.
    The names are free text. The program does not validate the names against a list. You can specify any number of agent names. If the Agents field is empty, the assistant selects an agent.
  7. To add a step, click New Step. A section can contain up to five steps.
  8. To add a section, click New Section. A page can contain up to five sections.

    When a limit is reached, the related add control is not available, and the page displays a message that states that the maximum has been reached. The page removes the message after you delete a section or a step.

    Note: Drag a section or a step by the drag handle to change the order. The page labels steps as Step 1, Step 2, and so on. The page renumbers the steps after you delete or reorder a step. The system runs the steps in the displayed order, section by section.
  9. Click Save.

    Before the system saves the configuration, it checks that the configuration contains a name and that every step contains prompt text. If a step contains an empty prompt, the system shows a message on the step and does not save the configuration. Specify prompt text to continue.

    When the configuration is valid and enabled, the system saves the configuration. AI page generation starts automatically.

    Note: When a page contains no sections, the editor displays a No sections yet message.
    Note: When a section contains no steps, the editor displays a No steps yet message.

Editing a AI-generated page configuration

  1. In the Generate Insight Pages window, select a configuration name in the left panel.
    The right panel shows the configuration details.
  2. Update the Name, the sections and their names, the steps, the prompts and agents, or the Enabled state.
  3. Click Save.
    If the configuration is enabled and changes were made, the AI page is regenerated.

Deleting a AI-generated page configuration

  1. In the Generate Insight Pages window, click the delete icon next to a configuration in the left panel.
  2. In the confirmation dialog box, click Delete.
    The configuration and its associated AI page are removed.
