Application Navigation
To navigate to a page hosted by another Infor application within the Infor OS Portal, you can use the Application Navigation
attribute where you can specify one or more links to another application page.
This attribute is supported at diagram level for process maps and BPMN models, and at element level by:
- Process Map elements: Rectangle, Circle, Image, Text, Line, Container
- BPMN elements: Task, Sub Process, Lane, Group, IT System, Gateway
To configure the Application Navigation
values in the attributes pane:
- Click the icon to add a new entry to the list.
- In the dialog box that opens, select the
Application Name
to which to navigate and, if applicable, theForm Name
andRole
. - The property
Use as drillback
is set to YES by default, meaning the link is shown as a hyperlink in Process Viewer. Optionally, you can set it to NO to show only theForm Name
as read-only text instead of a hyperlink. - Click to save the link.
The Form Name
, and, if available, its description are shown in the list for the Application Navigation
attribute. If the Use as drillback
property is set to YES, a link icon is shown in front of this item, else no icon is shown.
The administrator configures the Application Navigation
, Form Name
, and Role
attributes on the screen.
The Application Name
defines the URL to which to navigate, and the Form Name
and Role
are values for the placeholders in this URL.
See the Infor Process Intelligence Administration Guide for details.
In Presentation mode, open the attributes panel of the element for which Application Navigation
was configured and see its value as a list of hyperlinks. Click a hyperlink to go to the target application within the Infor OS Portal. For application navigation links with Use as drillback
property set to NO, the Form Name
is shown as read-only text.
To efficiently go to a target application, double-click a Process Map element. This automatically goes to the first available application link marked for drillback. If no drillback link is defined, nothing happens. This feature streamlines navigation while still allowing to access multiple links through the attribute panel, and applies only to Process Map elements.
