Duplicating a folder
You can use the action from the context menu of a folder to create a deep copy that you can edit without altering the contents of the original folder. All folder contents such as subfolders, process maps, BPMN models, and the registry entries they reference are duplicated. Diagram links to models outside this folder are kept during duplication. Before editing the referenced models, make a duplicate of their parent folder as well. Document attachments are not duplicated; the copied models reference the same attachments as the original models.
A duplicate folder is created by default at the same location as the original folder. You can use and to move the duplicated subfolder to another main folder. You can rename the duplicated folder, and you can edit the models it contains and the registry entries they use without affecting the original copy.
In the case of locked folders, you must use the action at the level of the main folder to create a copy of an Infor Process Catalog as a main folder. You can then edit the local copy. Your changes are not affected by further updates of the Infor standard content. See also Working with locked categories from the Registry section for more information.
To create a duplicate of a locked subfolder, you can use the action. A duplicate copy of the subfolder is created at the root of the folder tree, which is unlocked and can be edited.
