Relation mapping
The objects are related with each other, and it is necessary to establish connections between them so that the application can connect events from different objects into cases. The objects might have a parent-child relationship or be just referenced. For Infor-provisioned content, the relationships are predefined and cannot be changed; however, it is important to set up correct relationships between custom objects.
The Relation Mapping page is available under the Process Overview page as a separate tab next to the Processes tab.
The Relation Mapping page contains the list of Infor-provisioned objects according to the held license as well as any created custom objects. The default sorting by name is in ascending alphabetical order.
The list of objects is displayed in a table. The table has these columns:
Column name | Column description |
---|---|
Mapped | This column is used to the display the status of the mapping. |
Object name | This column is used to display the name of the object to be mapped. |
Parent object name | This column displays the mapped parent object name. |

On the relation mapping table, you can use the icons in the table for several actions.
This table gives an overview of the icons and their corresponding actions:

Sort | Sort the columns of the table. The Object name column is sorted by name in ascending alphabetical order or descending alphabetical order. The other columns are sorted based on mapping. |
