Working with locked categories
Standard content delivered with an Infor Process Catalog consists of process models that use registry entries for attribute values. In the Registry user interface, you can see categories delivered as standard Infor content marked with a lock icon.
Categories marked with a red lock icon are visible as read-only. You can view their registry entries, but you cannot add, edit, or remove entries. You cannot import or export entries for these categories from a CSV file.
You can also view the details of locked registry entries in the Registry user interface and when navigating from a locked diagram (BPMN Model or Process Map) in read-only mode.
When you duplicate a locked folder, its models and the Registry entries that the models use are duplicated. The parent category for the Registry entries is duplicated into a new, unlocked category with a similar name. The duplicate copies of the Registry entries are placed in the new category. In this way, you can edit the new content copy in the Registry after duplication.
Certain main categories marked with an orange lock icon are partially locked. These categories contain locked content such as locked sub-categories and locked entries. The locked content cannot be modified, but more content can be added to these main categories, for example new subcategories as the result of a folder duplication.
These restrictions apply for partially locked categories:
- You can add entries and remove unlocked entries at the main category level.
- On Export to CSV, the locked entries are not exported. Only the unlocked entries are exported.
- On Import from CSV, the locked entries are not updated. Only new entries are added, and unlocked entries are updated.
