Approving or creating a draft for several process models

In the Context Explorer view, you can approve or draft all models in a folder at once, view status, and multi-select models for approval or drafting. This functionality is not available for locked folders.

To approve several models in a folder, you can use of these options:

  • In the folder tree view, right-click a folder to see its context menu and select Folder > Approve all models.
  • In the folder-details view, select Approve all models from the More menu of a tile representing a folder.
  • In the folder-details view, multi-select one or more models and folders in the tiles or grid view, and click Approve selection from the toolbar.

When you approve several models in a bulk action, a confirmation dialog is shown where you can provide an approval comment. The user who performs the mass approval action is recorded as the approver, and the same comment is applied to all draft versions, which become approved. If the selection contains models that do not have a draft version, these are skipped, and no changes are made for them.

To create a draft version for several models in a folder you can use one of these options:

  • In the folder tree view, right-click a folder to see its context menu and select Folder > Draft all models.
  • In the folder-details view, select Draft all models from the More menu of a tile representing a folder.
  • In the folder-details view, multi-select one or more models and folders in the tiles or grid view, and click Draft selection from the toolbar.

This action generates a new draft version for the selected approved models and the approved models from the selected folders and subfolders, based on their last approved version. Models that already have a draft version are not affected.
