Copying and moving folder content

You can copy or move one or more process models, one or more folders, or a mixed selection of models and subfolders from one folder to another by using Cut, Copy, and Paste options on the folder context menu; Cut, Copy, and Paste icons on the folder details toolbar in multi-select mode; and Cut and Copy actions on a single tile of a process model. When copying content, note that the referenced registry entries from the copied models are used in all copies, and any change affects all copies as well.

You can also move content across folders by using drag and selecting one or more tiles from one folder’s tiles view and using the mouse to drag the content toward the folder tree view. If you would like to place content in a subfolder, expand the tree view on the left so that the desired target folder is visible before you move content. The target folder is highlighted when the cursor hovers over it. Release the mouse to confirm dropping content in the highlighted target folder. To abort drag and drop, move the cursor with the selected content to the details panel on the right. When the blue highlight of the target folder disappears, release the mouse to leave the content in the original folder.

This functionality does not apply to locked content. You cannot cut, copy, or move locked content, and you cannot paste or drop content into locked folders.
