Registry tools
Use the Registry Tools to declutter and reorganize the registry data.
The tools are presented as tiles shown on the Registry Tools page. Each tile enables you to run a script that has effect on the local content. The execution of these scripts does not affect the locked content delivered by Infor.
The following registry tools are available:
- : This script enables you to rebuild the usage references for registry entries used by process models or custom attribute definitions.
- : By executing this script, you can remove any unused entries from the defaultCategory and add the en-US title as a prefix to auto-generated entry names within this category.
- : This script offers multiple functions such as merging name-only and description-only entries into one when they are used for these two attributes of an element, removing empty registry entries from any category, and eliminating duplicate entries with identical translations.
- : Run this tool to redistribute registry entries in sub-categories based on a predefined category mapping. This tool is presented as a wizard with three steps: assigning categories for designated folder names, running the organization script, and reviewing the results.
To execute these scripts, navigate to the
screen and click the start button in the applicable tile. Running a cleanup script or the reorganization script might require a significant amount of time, depending on the amount of content to be processed. It is recommended to avoid using the system during this period as creating new models could potentially cause the script to fail.
