Pipelines
Pipelines provide automated solutions for managing data workflows. You can monitor the progress of the data pipelines and observe the tasks and operations as the pipeline progresses.
Population Health Analytics supports the Load and Calculate pipeline types.

Use the Load pipeline when onboarding new or updated data from external sources. You must complete a Load pipeline before you can run a Calculate pipeline. You can load data into the system as a whole batch or in multiple incremental loads, but only one pipeline can run at a time.
The Calculate pipeline performs calculation and result preparation on previously loaded data to generate clinical quality measure results. You can run multiple calculations on the same loaded data for different groups, measures, or data ranges. Only one pipeline can run at a time.
Results from calculations are available for download by pipeline run.
