Pipeline quota validation
Pipeline quota validation applies before launching a new Load or Calculate pipeline. The validation compares current usage statistics with the derived quota for the tenant.
This table shows the configuration values and derived limits:

| Per Member Per Month (PMPM) license count | The PMPM license count defines the number of members included in the tenant license. This value is used to derive both storage and calculation quotas. |
| Storage quota (MB per PMPM) | The storage quota per PMPM defines the allowed storage per member. The default value is 30 MB. This quota applies to Load pipelines. |
| Calculation quota (per month per PMPM) | The calculation quota per PMPM defines the number of calculations allowed per PMPM each month. The default value is 100 calculations per month per PMPM. This quota limits the total number of measure calculations for all patients for the current month, where one calculation is represented by one record in the calculation result file. This quota applies to Calculate pipelines. |
Quotas are configured during provisioning based on the PMPM license and associated per‑PMPM values. We recommend that you contact the system administrator if more quota is required.
Quota validation occurs only at pipeline launch, where the relevant usage statistic is used for validation. Once a pipeline is launched, the pipeline continues to completion and is not stopped if usage exceeds the quota during processing.
This table shows the quota validation thresholds:

| Less than 80% of quota | Pipeline launch continues without a warning. |
| 80% to less than 100% of quota | A warning is displayed before pipeline launch that indicates current usage, the quota threshold, and the approximate percentage used. Users can proceed with launching the pipeline. |
| 100% or greater | Pipeline launch is blocked, and an error message is displayed to indicate that the storage quota or calculation quota has been exceeded. Load pipelines are blocked when the storage quota is reached, and Calculate pipelines are blocked when the monthly calculation quota is reached. |
If quota is exceeded before a queued pipeline starts, queued pipelines are paused and a quota exceeded message is displayed in the Queue tab. After usage is reduced or data is cleaned up, you can resume the pipelines in the queue.
