Configuration backup and restore

Administrators can back up selected configuration elements and restore previously saved configurations to preserve configuration settings, migrate configurations between environments, or recover existing configurations.

Administrators can select which configuration elements to include in a backup or restore operations.

Backing up configuration elements

  1. On the Infor Population Health Analytics web interface, open the left navigation panel.
  2. Select Settings > Advanced.
  3. In the Configuration Backup/Restore section, select the configuration elements to include in the backup.
  4. In the Password field, specify a password to encrypt the backup file.
  5. In the Confirm Password field, specify the password from the Password field.
  6. Click Create Backup.

Restoring configuration elements

Restoring configuration elements can replace existing configuration settings.
  1. On the Infor Population Health Analytics web interface, open the left navigation panel.
  2. Select Settings > Advanced.
  3. In the Configuration Backup/Restore section, select the Restore Configuration tab.
  4. Click the upload icon.
  5. Select a backup file and click Open.
  6. In the Password field, specify the password to used to encrypt the backup file.
  7. Click Inspect Backup.
  8. Review the available configuration elements in the backup file and then select the configuration elements to restore.
  9. Click Restore Selected.
  10. Click Ok to confirm.
  11. In the Restore Report, review the results of the restore process.

    Configuration elements that do not already exist in the target tenant are added from the backup file. Existing data sources, patient groups, and pipeline templates with matching names or IDs are retained and are not modified.

  12. Click Close.
