Result

The Result page shows the output of completed Calculate pipelines and presents measure outcomes in a structured format. From the Result page, users can access the Summary tab and Comparison tab to perform these actions:

  • View details for specific measures
  • Review patient-level detail for a selected result set
  • Export data in JSON or CSV format
  • Compare the output of two pipeline runs

Summary

The Summary tab is the default view on the Result page, which shows the results of a completed Calculate pipeline.

Select a Calculate pipeline from the pipeline selection field to load the results. Pipeline selection includes completed Calculate pipelines and excludes failed and terminated pipelines. Use a keyword or reorder the entries in the list by pipeline ID, patient group name, description, or created at date to narrow the available pipelines.

This table shows the sections from the Summary tab:

Result Summary The Result Summary section shows these identifying information for the selected pipeline:
  • Description
  • Pipeline UUID
  • Patient group name
  • Created at
  • Database name
  • Total successful patients
  • Total failed patients
  • Measures
  • Period
Measure

The Measure section shows the measures included in the selected pipeline. Each measure includes a download option to export detailed results in CSV format.

Select a measure from the list to view the measure results in the Result section.
Result

The Result section shows calculation results for the selected measure.

Results can include categorical measures, grade levels, or numeric measures that return a value for a sample.

Results include this information:

  • Result types
  • Total count for each result type
  • Total value that shows the sum of the result values
  • Chart that shows the distribution of result types in the selected measure

Select a result type count or double-click the chart to open the patient drill-down list.

You can download a generated result summary in JSON format or CSV format.

Patient drill-down list

The patient drill-down list shows all patients for the selected result type in a table with this information:

  • Patient ID
  • Group ID
  • Result
  • Rule
  • Value
  • Rule Description
  • Calculation date
  • Patient last update date

From the generated patient drill-down list, users can download the results, or can create a patient group based on the displayed patients. The created group contains only the patients in the active Patient List at the time of creation.

Patient FHIR Bundle viewer

The Patient FHIR Bundle Viewer provides administrative users access to the extracted FHIR bundle longitudinal chart for an individual patient from the Results Summary. Click a patient ID from the patient drill-down list screen to view the complete patient chart in raw JSON format.

Note: The Patient FHIR Bundle viewer does not require additional configuration and does not change existing Result views or workflows for non‑administrative users.

Comparison

The Comparison tab shows a comparison of the results from two completed pipeline runs. The comparison is based on individual patients and shows how each patient’s result differs between two pipeline runs.

This table shows the pipelines used in the comparison:

Pipeline type Description
Reference pipeline Represents the baseline pipeline execution used as the basis for comparison
Comparison pipeline Represents the pipeline execution evaluated against the reference pipeline

The Comparison tab shows the results side by side for the selected pipelines.

On the reference side, each result type is displayed once with the corresponding patient count and total value.

On the comparison side, patients from each reference result are grouped by their corresponding results in the comparison pipeline. A reference result can map to multiple comparison results, resulting in multiple rows. Each row shows the comparison result type, count of patients, and total value for that subset. A <missing> entry indicates the patients present in the reference pipeline but not in the comparison pipeline.

A <missing> entry indicates one of these conditions:

  • On the reference side, the patient is present only in the comparison pipeline
  • On the comparison side, the patient is present in the reference pipeline but not in the comparison pipeline
When the same patient group is used for both pipelines and membership has not changed, no <missing> rows are displayed.
Note:  The same result type can be displayed multiple times on the comparison side across different reference results to show how patients from different reference results are distributed across comparison results.
