Anonymization
Data anonymization is the process of protecting sensitive information by removing identifiers that link an individual to clinical data.
In Population Health Analytics, anonymization is applied as part of the Load pipeline after data is ingested and before the data is imported into the FHIR repository. Data is loaded into the repository only after successful anonymization.
Rulesets are used to define how clinical data is processed during anonymization. Each ruleset contains the configuration applied to data during processing. The active configuration is defined separately for JSON and NDJSON processing, where one ruleset is selected for each format. If no ruleset is selected, the default Infor ruleset is used for both processing.
