This guide provides detailed information about how to use the Infor Internet of Things (IoT) portal.

Infor IoT is a browser-based interface to configure and monitor IoT devices.

Infor IoT runs in Infor Ming.leTM.

In the device template, you can store the description and common configuration information to all IoT devices that are associated with the same device template.

An IoT Device within Infor IoT is a representation of a specific device or logical entity.

For each of the devices in Infor IoT you can create a corresponding asset in EAM.

For each device template in Infor IoT you can create a rule for evaluation of the associated device readings.

All transactions of IoT items such as save, update, activate, deactivate, delete and create EAM asset are asynchronous.

Access to Infor IoT can be restricted based on users’ roles.
